Once an icon has passed cool-off it cannot ordinarily be removed from its containing User Folder. However, if you wish to delete an Icon that has passed cool-off, simply right click the icon, and from the context menu choose Manual Update. When the manual update screen opens, press Delete All (records). Once done, close the Manual Update screen. Now you should be able to delete the icon.
