How do I copy my MetriQ settings from one computer to another?

In a larger organization or perhaps as a backup ready for re-installing MetriQ to a new disk, you may wish to duplicate all of your MetriQ settings. To do this, open your registry editor by typing regedit in the Run box (if using XP) or in the “Search Program and Files” box if running Vista/Windows 7, visible from the Window’s Start button.

Once regedit is open, navigate to the key called:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MetriQ2_

Next, select File > Export from the top menu.

You will be asked to give a file name of your choice. Once complete, all of your MetriQ settings will  be saved in this exported .reg file.

Finally, go to the new computer that is to receive these values. Again open the regedit application, and this time choose File > Import. Navigate the file manager to your exported .reg file saved from the above operation. Load this file.

You have now successfully imported your MetriQ settings from once computer to another.
