Outlook and Word timing issues

You may find timing doesn't occur as you would expect using these 2 packages in combination. Perhaps you will see MetriQ ask you to close Word when you have just opened Outlook, or something else that is unexpected. The reasons for this are because Outlook is typically configured to use Word as its editing page for the creation of new emails, which MetriQ then tries to close if you ask to open Word after Outlook.
The work arounds to this are:

1. In outlook go Tools > Options > Mail Format Tab, Uncheck both Use MS Word to... options.
2. Alternatively, make sure you open work before outlook.
