If you have specified a budget for your client, but want to apply a discount, perhaps because one of the contractors has finished ahead of time, then this can be easily entered into MetriQ in the following way.
1. Create a new Timed Event called 'Discount'.
2. Add this Discount Timed Event to the folder that is to receive the discount.
3. Right click the icon and open the Manual update screen.
4. Choose the Cost tab.
5. Enter the discounted value.
6. Press the - button to have MetriQ remove this value from that clients total.
7. Close the Manual update screen and you are done.
If you now open reports, you'll see Discount next to the selected folder, with the cost value and equivilent in time that discuount costs.
