In 2005, MetriQ responded to a market demand for a new approach to timesheets and stopwatch software typically used by accountants and lawyers for client billing and charge out. MetriQ Professional has quickly become a word-of-mouth wonder, with its ability to capture to the nearest second, the time a computer is in use, the staff using it, for which applications and which client. Our software quickly outgrew the original industry sector it was initially designed for, with sales to professional time-keepers in areas as diverse as bioinformatics to landscape gardens.

With our constant attention to detail and a keen ear, listening to our partners and client feedback, the MetriQ software product has evolved considerably since its inception and early product releases. Key changes for the software over the past 3 years include - Cross-Folder timing, Enhanced Persistent control, Improved timing engine, changeover to an industrial strength database manager, dynamic folder structure and an easy to use interface, tested using Usability Principles.

In early 2007, MetriQ launched a web-interface suitable for any Web-enabled hand-held device and the ability to time non-computer events while out of the office.

Over time, MetriQ has kept pace with new technologies and shifts in the competitive landscape.
