Staff Menu Options with MetriQ Time Tracking Software

MetriQ has a number of tools to help secure the staff administrator, and to help speed up data entry for new staff.

View > Select by Username: Filters all staff records by Username (see also the Sort Tool).
Security > Password Protect: Enable and Disable password protection for the staff administration screen. When used for the first time, you will be prompted for a character password. Note: As with all passwords it is important to remember the character string chosen.

Once set, there is no way within MetriQ to recover any password that has been lost - in such a case contact MetriQ support.
Actions > Match Username to Password: When this menu option is checked, the password field is automatically assigned to be the same as the UserName field. When set, this option will apply to all newly inserted staff.
Actions > Archive User: The Archive User allows you to configure MetriQ's timing data for all given folders across a number of years for each staff who's charge out rate has changed (see also the Archive User tool).
Actions > Merge The Merge option allows you to merge two staff into one (see also Merge Staff).
Actions > Reset User: Sometimes, if a user's computer crashes or there's an interruption with the power supply, details of that user remain unchanged in the master database. Either that staff logs back into MetriQ or the Reset User is used. This will only have a consequence on an administrator who wishes to delete a folder.
Actions > Reset All Users: Same as Reset User (above), except the reset applies to ALL users.
