Typographical Usage and Conventions

The following typographical conventions are used in MetriQ Help (see also Metaphors).

Menu items are shown in this format: menu name > menu item name.
Items in submenu's are shown in this format: menu name > submenu name > menu item name.

Bold Aerial italic text indicates text for you to enter verbatim.
Dragging and dropping. MetriQ supports drag and drop functionality. To drag and drop an item, make a selection with your mouse using the left mouse button. Keeping the button pressed, move the mouse to a different position. You will see your item being 'dragged' to the new location. Release the mouse button to drop your selected item at the new position on the screen.
Context Menu's and Popups: For many screens within MetriQ, you can quickly move to your desired function using context menus. To access a content menu, right click your mouse over a given part of the window that you are using. Depending on where you click your mouse, possible functionality for that part of the window may be accessed from the displayed popup context menu.
