Use the Timing Folder tab to show timing data
and costs in a variety of formats. In combination with the Selection Tab

are possible, depending on how you wish to display your data.
There are a number of fields that can be
viewed and exported within the details tab:

Over the course of a year, MetriQ can collect many thousands of data records for each member of staff. Filtering this data into meaningful reports is done with the use of numerous filtering options outlined below:
| Staff: |
Choose to display
time and costs relevant to a single staff or to All staff (by checking
the All option). |
| Group: |
Choose to display timing data for groups of staff
(see Groups). Staff and Groups are mutually exclusive. |
| Billable: |
Select from those icons that
are billable, non-billable or both. The time for Non-billable icons
is shown, but with zero costs.
Note: Use the All (Forced) option if you want MetriQ to display costs (as well as time) for non-billable time on icons and disbursements on non-billable folders (see also Folder Properties). |
| Auto: |
Choose to display time data manually collected (using the manual update tool with icon - see also manual update), or time collected from MetriQ's automated time collection methodologies.
Note: Time collected by Time Away and iTime all constitute automated timing. |
| This Computer Only: |
Show only the collected data for the computer you
are on. When unchecked, all data across the network is shown. |
| Start/End Date: |
Select the date
range for the data to be displayed.
Target Dates: Use the target date button (and its
associated drop down menu) to quickly filter your time data by day,
week or month (target automatically fills in the start and end dates
for you, depending on which day, week or month you select). Select
a folder and press the target button.
Note: MetriQ uses the ISO 8601 standard definition of a
week. That is, a week is considered to start on a Monday and end
on a Sunday.
|
| Single Line Total: |
Use this checked option to obtain a one line output summary for the selected Folder(s). If you require to view more than one folder, use the multi-selection option, or the Report Builder. |

Use this option to group all records that have the same Folder Name. |
| Summarize by Staff: |
Use this option to group all records that have the same staff. |
| Summarize by Date: |
Use this option to group all records by Date.
Note: When Summarize by Folder,Staff and Date are all selected, the data presented is almost identical to the RAW data output (Summarize by Folder, Staff, Date and Executive options are unchecked), except that multiple records occurring on the same day for each staff are summated together. |
