Discounting a Folder with MetriQ Time Tracking Software

Its the end of the month, and you are about to bill the client. You've looked at the timing data, studied the reports, and feel you would like to offered a discount of $1000 to the client. How do we do this in MetriQ?

First, move to the folder in which the discount is to apply. Add a Timed Event Icon called Discount. Right click the Icon to open the Manual Update window. Select the Cost Tab. Enter $1000 and press the Remove Time button. MetriQ will now remove $1000 dollars worth of time from this icon (as its a new Icon, the total time will be negative).

Now, when you come to review your reports, under the folder to which you applied the discount, you will see -$1000.
