Wizards, Disbursements & Profiles

Automated time tracking software is more than just monitoring how much time a piece of software has been used for. Who used that software, and which customer the work for and against which task of a project, is just as important. In MetriQ folders are an important aspect of the software’s design, as they form the narrative from which all reporting and invoicing is carried out, showing total duration and costs against particular Client/Project/Tasks and sub-tasks.
Folder Wizard
In MetriQ folders hold Icons, and Icons are the software and documents that you might use daily that relate to the folder that owns them. As such, when using that software or documents, MetriQ will automatically accrue the time used against a given folder. Folders are therefore repositories for Icons that collect time, and your reporting narrative. The Folder Wizard will help you quickly add new Folders and Sub-Folders to your business structure.
Disbursements
MetriQ allows you to add disbursements to each of your time tracked Folders. Disbursements types have a range of tax values and are available from a drop down menu which can be edited at any time.
Profiles
Profiles determines the behaviour of a Folder, for example, does that folder allow Time Away Mode and after how long; does the folder have 6 minute billable units or 15 minute units, and so forth.
