Requirements to Run MetriQ's Time Tracking Software
MetriQ® is designed to run within any Windows operating system from Windows XP onwards. This includes Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7. MetriQ will also run with Citrix and can be used with a Virtual Private Network.
MetriQ uses an industrial strength RDBMS called Firebird, which has a 64 Terabyte data capacity, and can be used standalone or in a client/server architecture. Communications between MetriQ and the RDMBS uses TCP/IP and can be used on an intranet or across the internet via the World Wide Web.
Firebird is automatically installed when MetriQ is installed, but must be uninstalled separately if the MetriQ product range is to be removed.
Recommended Hardware Requirements:
Single or multi core processor of 500MHz or above.
Disk Space: Firebird RDBMS footprint 5MB ; MetriQ footprint 100Mb.
RAM: Firebird -Typically <10MB but this file size will grow as more data is added to the database.
RAM: MetriQ – Typically <20MB.
