Welcome

Aim
The aim of the Tukutuku Benchmarking Project is twofold: first, to gather data on Web projects to be used to build company-specific or generic cost estimation models that will help a Web company improve its current cost estimation practices; second, to enable a Web company to benchmark its productivity within and across Web Companies.

To date the Tukutuku Benhcmarking project has gathered data on 169 Web projects worldwide and this data has been used to help several Web companies.

Why participating?
Every company that participates in the Tukutuku Benchmarking project by volunteering project data on at least 12 of their projects receives a free copy of two reports: i) a Web productivity benchmarking report that details the Web company's productivity across the projects it volunteered, and compares the Web company to other Web companies in the same country and overseas; ii) a Web cost estimation report that uses the project data volunteered to build several cost estimation models, using different effort estimation techniques, looking for the model that provides the best results.

No Data?
If you would like to obtain a copy of the Web cost estimation and the Web productivity benchmarking reports however you do not have enough project data to contribute, please send us a message using our Contact page.

Confidentiality
All the volunteered data remains strictly confidential and no references to individuals participating in this project nor their companies are disclosed publicly.
